Our Goals and Objectives

To ensure the preservation of our existing ocean access through the following actions:
1. To keep abreast of current community issues, local politics and state legislation topics that affect our sport and ocean access.
2. To build respectful relationships and reciprocal partnerships with agencies that govern our beach parks (DLNR, DOBOR & DOCARE).
3. To strive for an active presence and voice in the stakeholder’s committee that oversees the beach parks, ocean waters and recreation of Kailua Bay, thereby having direct involvement with decision and policy making processes that affect our sport and ocean access.
To perpetuate our culture and sport through educational and organizational activities that foster connection and build community.
To promote safe and responsible practices and etiquette across the windsports community through education, modeling, individual self-regulation and accountability.
To promote awareness of these practices for new and inbound windsports enthusiasts visiting from around the world.
To foster a welcoming beach environment for all Kailua Beach park users.
To cultivate positive relations with the surrounding community through respectful discourse, collaborative projects and education.
To foster safe and equal access solutions for community and visiting beachgoers.
